About us

Hospitality with a touch of taste

We have revived Hotel 1876 on the site of an ancient water mill, which existed since the 16th century, and over the years was a gathering place for villagers from nearby villages and hamlets. In the months before and during the April Uprising, local committees often gathered here, which is why the mill was burned to the ground after the uprising was suppressed.

In 2007, after a century and a quarter in ruins, we built Hotel 1876, in honor of the heroes of the April Uprising. The idea of the hotel is to present local cuisine and rakia, with products mainly from the Apriltsi region. We strive to prepare a delicious vegetarian menu. Over time, we replace all packaged products and drinks with our own production, for better health and pleasure of our dear guests.
